Kirkmans Plan for the Conclusion of The Walking Dead Has Changed
"The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman revealed that his plans for the conclusion of the Image Comics series have changed -- again.
At Comic-Con International in San Diego, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman, artist Charlie Adlard, and Skybound editorial director Sean Mackiewicz sat down to discuss their hit Image Comic series. During the panel, Kirkman revealed that his plans for the conclusion of the title has changed -- again.
Though Kirkman has said that he knew how the series would end, "The end has changed," he said. "There was one version that would have had it ending as soon as everybody reached Alexandria."

Kirkman is, of course, referring to the Alexandria Safe-Zone, which appeared in 2010's "The Walking Dead" #69. The series has since passed its 150th issue, six years following Alexandria's debut. Clearly, Kirkman has since left plenty of room for the series to grow past his original plans, and he may have just created more.
Kirman and Adlard's "The Walking Dead" #157 goes on sale August 3.
