AMCs The Walking Dead Releases a King Ezekiel Supercut
As The Walking Dead prepares to return for its midseason premiere, a new video shows all of Ezekiel's best moments from the AMC series.

Ever since Season 7, one of the big fan-favorite characters to appear on The Walking Dead has been King Ezekiel, portrayed by Khary Payton.
The eccentric, Shakespearean leader of a survivor community known as the Kingdom, Ezekiel quickly proved invaluable in the war against the Saviors, commanding a formidable tiger named Shiva he raised since before the zombie apocalypse. Now, with Ezekiel facing a potentially grim fate in Season 10, AMC has released a supercut of the king's best moments throughout the survival horror series.

Following the Saviors' defeat, Ezekiel married Carol and adopted her son Henry. However, as the conflict against a new faction known as the Whisperers intensified, Henry was killed and Ezekiel and Carol divorced in their grief.
Earlier in Season 10, Ezekiel was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which he believes will be fatal, given the lack of modern medicine in the post-apocalyptic world. Refusing to tell Carol of his condition, Ezekiel faces an uncertain future when the series returns.
The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Cooper Andrews, Avi Nash and Samantha Morton. The midseason premiere will air Sunday, Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
