Negans In Charge In New Walking Dead Promo
The scene and promo for next week's Service episode of Walking Dead finds Rick's team in the palm of Negan's hand.
The dark mood is not easing up on AMC's "The Walking Dead".
After Sunday night's brutal, pop-tuned "The Cell", fans who were hoping for another trip to the decidedly more whimsical Kingdom may be disappointed with next week's tense episode. The scenes from the fourth episode of the zombie dystopia's seventh season, an installment titled "Service," show Negan's arrival at Alexandria.
In the sneak peak revealed on Sunday's "Talking Dead," we find Rosita and Eugene coping with the loss of Abraham in different ways before a knock at the city's gates interrupt them.
The episode's promo reveals more (though not much) of Negan's first encounter with Rick Grimes and Co. since the brutal premiere. We mostly see our heroes in various closeups in various states of anxiety along with a particularly intense Michonne loading up a gun. "There is no way out of this," Rick explains to what was once his people. "I'm not in charge anymore. Negan is."
The promo also recalls Negan's only rated G line from the comics. "Little Pig, little Pig," the Big Bad (Wolf) bellows. "Let me in!"
Airing Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC, “The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
