Kirkman Johnson Dream Up a Walking Dead Crossover with Hobbs & Shaw
The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and Hobbs & Shaw star Dwayne Johnson dream up the ultimate crossover.

With Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham's titular characters have broken out of the popular action franchise. Although it's not clear at this time what's next for the pair, a recent conversation between Johnson and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman dreams up the ultimate crossover.
Kirkman praised Hobbs & Shaw on Twitter, singling out Johnson. The actor responded, writing, "When the creator of Walking Dead loves @HobbsAndShaw. I smell our universes colliding on screen." Kirkman replied, "Just say when!"
Just say when!
Hobbs & Shaw is estimated to have taken in over $255 million worldwide as of writing against a budget of around $200 million. The movie is the first Fast and Furious spinoff since the franchise launched in 2001.
Kirkman launched The Walking Dead in 2003. The series recently came to an end, though the two TV shows based on the comic -- The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead -- continue airing on AMC. There are plans for more spinoffs, including a trilogy of films focusing on protagonist Rick Grimes.
Directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) from a script by longtime Fast & Furious veteran Chris Morgan, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby.
