AMCs 88Hour Walking Dead Marathon Will Turn You Into a Walker
The marathon is mercifully spread across an entire week and covers six seasons worth of post-apocalyptic survival and undead degeneracy.
With six seasons and a spinoff series under its belt, it might seem like a daunting task to get into “The Walking Dead” television show if you haven’t already. Fear not. For the low, low price of your circadian rhythm you too can get caught up on AMC’s hit zombie drama with an 88-hour “The Walking Dead” marathon.

Fortunately, all 88 hours will not be aired in one continuous block. That, after all, would be dangerous. The first and second season will air starting on Sunday, October 16 at 7:00 am PT and go until 11:00 pm. From there, starting on Tuesday, October 18, the remaining seasons will air nightly, kicking off at 6:00 pm PT with the first episode of season three. The full schedule can be found here.
The marathon concludes right before the seventh season premiere of “The Walking Dead” airs on Sunday, October 23. The premiere looks to answer the question left on viewers’ lips when the sixth season finale left off with a riveting, violent cliffhanger.
